Introdution to BWPMS

Why do we need yet another Content Manager? What make BWPMS diferent from every other Content Manager, specially all the OpenSource Content Manager Systems writen to create small to medium size sites?

Flexibility

This Content Manager was thinked to be installed in a apache webserver, in his own IP, with a ServerAlias *, and then allow the site administrator to create multiple sites, each with it's onw domain, it's own design, and it's own contents, everything online, with simple form interactions.

Creative Freedom

BWPMS was thinked to be completly independent from layout. It's not just about layout, its also about format and structure. Even if BWPMS was designed to suport a specific type of site with a very limited variety of content types by default, It was thinked to allow designer and site managers to structure and design the sites as they wish (even if they wish to use tables and other deprecated tecniques).

BWPMS is template driven and don't impose any formatting or designing specific rules.

The default templates are usually written using DIVs and CSS formating, but every template can be defined, overlapping the default templates.

Easy of use

Other of the primary objectives of BWPMS was the easy of use, allowing webdesigners without any programming skills to create dynamic, consistent  websites, and giving users with minor computing and internet knowledges the ability to manage those sites contents.
